The first shot has already been shot and it features Madhavan. The scene is beautifully shot in a jetliner and has the director all enthused. Aamir plays Rancho and he along with her love interest Kareena are set to blaze the Ladakh Iceland with a whirlwind 20 day shoot imminently ahead.
As a neat departure form the trend, the shoot will be entirely done in India and has few of the top cosmopolitan junctions like Delhi and Bangalore and a pastoral recess like Ladakh towed in. Shantanu Moitra is the oarsman on the music front and Swanand Kirkire takes the mantle of lyricist for this Aamir venture.

Threatened by Rancho’s talent, ViruS labels him an “idiot” and attempts on a number of occassions to destroy his friendship with Farhan and Raju. In contrast, ViruS’ model student is Chatur Ramalingam or “Silencer,” (Omi Vaidya) a geek who lives by conforming to the expectations of the system, mindless cramming, and unethical means of destroying his competition. Meanwhile, Rancho also falls in love with ViruS’ pre-med daughter Pia (Kareena Kapoor).
Their story is framed as a flashback from the present day, ten years after graduation. Having lost contact with Rancho who disappeared during the graduation party, Raju and Farhan begin a journey to find him. They are joined by Chatur, now a wealthy and successful businessman, who joins them to settle a bet with Rancho and meet a business associate named Phunsuk Wangdu. Raju and Farhan also find and bring Pia along with them.
