American Idol is in Los Angeles tonight and one of the contestants that gets a 'no' vote from theAmerican Idol judges and guest judge Avril Lavigne, is Cult of Personality singer A.J. Mendoza.

A.J Mendoza says that he is an Adam Lambert fan, but Simon says that he sounds like he is still on Novocaine from the dentist. Avril Lavigne says a definite 'no' to A.J going forward.
However A.J Mendoza will still be singing in a touring version of Jesus Christ Superstar in which he is an Apostle and he is the understudy for Judas.
