Van Bommel said his team just out of luck because it had many opportunities but instead conceded two goals in a few minutes.
"This had nothing to do with the stadium and host factors. We did not play bad and have a lot of golden opportunities and actually deserve to win. We're just less fortunate," he said after the game.
"Muller, Klose, Olic and several players had good chances to score but we had no luck. We do not need to panic, the journey is still long and we sure can do better."
