A R Rahman Grabs The Grammy Award. The Indian Music maestro A.R Rahman has bagged the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. In spite of his double oscar award, grammy award is the first time for Rahman and he joins other musicians like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Zakir Hussain, Vishvamohan Bhatt and Vikku Vinayak who were honoured with this Grammy award in the past.Rahman honored the Grammy Award for his compositions in the song "Jai Ho" from the movie Slumdog Millionaire. While accepting this award Rahman Said that "It is insane, god is great again" and received the award.
The "Jai Ho" song is being sung by Rahman, Sukhvinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Vijay Prakash.
This is a great news and are also expecting Rahman to grab other Oscar for his song "Na Na" in the Hollywood movie "Couples Retreat". Anyway Great Rahmah!Cheers!
