International Holocaust Remembrance Day is being celebrated today around the world, 65 years after the Auschwitz camp was liberated.
January 27 has been named by the United Nations "International Holocaust Remembrance Day" and every year it is meant to remember victims of the Nazi era.
Israeli leaders are in Europe today to meet with other leaders and commemorate the Holocaust.
Special events will also be taking place today in Auschwitz.
Earlier this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the importance of remembering the Holocaust, which he says is a reminder that "there is evil in the world...pure, unadulterated evil."
Netanyahu's speech was delivered in English and will be given again today in Hebrew.
