Unlike MTV’s long-running situational reality show, Real World, which features an all-new cast with each season, Snooki, The Situation, JWoWW, Vinny, Pauly D, and everyone’s favorite totally tanned twosome, Ronnie and Sammi Sweetheart will be returning for Jersey Shore’s second season.
Filming will begin again this summer in the resort town of Sea Isle, NJ.
No official statement has been released by the network just yet, however, cast member Vinny Guadagino mentioned it to the press at a party following the release of the new film, Youth in Revolt, starring Michael Cera.
(Incidentally, Cera recieved a good-natured “guido makeover” from the cast.) Guadagino said that MTV is interested in a second season and all of the cast members are on board. It’s as good as a done deal that there will be more fist-pumping to be had in the near future.
