Five of Manilow’s albums were listed among others in the most bought charts at the same time in 1978, a record that has also been achieved by the greats like Johnny Mathis, Frank Sinatra and MJ. Manilow’s productions have been observed to a line of continuous Billboard pictures, and have paved path for him to be awarded with three consecutive wins at the American Music Awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, also he was titled the number one Radio and Records Adult Contemporary artist.Right now the 63 year old has grasped attention because of his plastic surgery operation. National Enquirer edition of 6th August, 2007 reported that the pop artist has had a series of plastic surgeries; a facelift in 1995 along with upper and lower face uplift in 2003, still not satisfied he underwent another facelift in 2006 and Botox injections was a regular for the musician.
The difference is quite crystal clear between his face structures; in a comparison between his recent photograph and his picture of 1978 it can be seen that his eyebrows and eyelids are alike. His cheeks though have now grown a bit more filled, possibly due to fat grafting, cheek implants or it could be both.
Also his skin is too inflexible for a man of 63, a direction towards the face implants he underwent in the previous years.
