The Socialite Jordan, 49, was speaking incoherently when police found her and her dead son Jude shortly before noon today. Police say the boy had been dead for about a day when he was found lying face up surrounded by prescription pills. The boy had foamed at the mouth, in an apparent overdose.
Jordan, who lives in the Trump International Hotel & Towers on Columbus Circle, was apparently upset over the end of her marriage when she checked into the five-star hotel with son Jude on Wednesday night, sources said.
She paid the bill in cash, ordered room service and never left the room after arriving, police said.
Jordan had been keeping in contact with her aunt through email, where she threatened to kill the boy and herself. The alarmed aunt called the NYPD which sent officer's to find Jordan.
Jordan was taken to hospital, asshe had ingested some of the pills, but survived the suicide attempt.
